Christopher D. Broussard

Chris was born in Orange, Texas in 1971. He attended West Orange-Stark High School and graduated in 1989 with honors while competing year-round on the Swim Team and Debate Team at a championship level. From there he matriculated at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and graduated in 1995 with two degrees - a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Communication. While at Lamar, Chris participated in parliamentary debate and served as the Chief Justice of the Student Court.

Chris received a Full Dean’s Scholarship to the University of Houston Law Center and graduated with a Doctorate in Jurisprudence in 1998. He was admitted to the Texas Bar that same year and joined one of the premier asbestos litigation law firms in Beaumont, Texas as an asbestos litigator, to hone his craft. Chris moved to Shreveport, Louisiana in September of 2000, joining another law firm, continuing his odyssey in mass tort litigation and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in early 2001. Chris opened a solo practice in 2002, expanding his practice areas to include all forms of personal injury litigation and family law. Chris met Pam in 2019 and by 2022 they had joined forces in their fight for justice.

Pamela King Newlen

Pam was born at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida and has lived in Korea, Japan, New Hampshire, Maine, New Mexico and Alaska. A military brat to the core. Pam attended Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska and participated on the Competitive Cheerleading Team and Diving Team before graduating in 1999. Pam began her collegiate endeavor at the University of Alaska Anchorage before moving to Louisiana in 2002. She continued her education at Bossier Parish Community College where she completed her Associate’s Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Business Communications. Pam obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana Tech University before attending Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge to obtain her Doctorate in Jurisprudence.

While in law school, Pam participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program and was the Vice President of the Tax Law Society. Pam was sworn in to the Louisiana Bar on May 10, 2018. 

Prior to being a member of the Louisiana Bar, Pam’s resumé included insurance sales, real estate, land management, and title abstracting. She maintains her insurance license in life, health, accident and title. Her knowledge of title abstracting is very helpful in family law, estate planning and succession cases.
